Pittsburgh Storm is pleased to announce the appointment of Chad Lounder as an Assistant Coach for the 2017-18 season.
A native of Hickory, PA, Chad began his hockey career at ten years of age playing for several teams in the Pittsburgh area, including the Pittsburgh Aviators. Chad played his senior year at Bishop Canevin, serving as team captain while at the same time playing AAA hockey for the Steel City Renegades.
Upon graduating high school, Chad went on to pursue his dream of playing junior hockey, spending his first season with the Minnesota Owls. This was followed by two seasons living and playing out of Butte Montana in the Western States Hockey League with the Butte Cobras. Chad proudly served as team captain during his final season with the Cobras.
Currently Chad is a sophomore at Missouri State studying Marketing while playing D1 hockey within the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). Chad is passionate about hockey and enjoys passing on his experience and knowledge to the younger players.
Chad will join Pittsburgh Storm and play an integral role as part our Pittsburgh Storm Ultimate Summer Program. Please welcome Chad to the Storm family when you see him at the rink!
